Cluedo 2: The New Whodunit Hit in Guildford This Week! 🕵️‍♂️🔪

Get ready for a killer time! Cluedo 2 is bringing the old classic board game to life with a brand new murder mystery show that is getting some unbelievable reviews!

I won’t give too much away, but it's the swinging ‘60s, and rock ‘n’ roll legend Rick Black is down on his luck. No hits in years, no cash in his pocket, but a brand new manor to match his (fading) fame.

Will he revive his career... or will things take a more sinister turn at Graveny Manor? 🤔💀

There might be a couple of faces you recognise, it stars West End and TV star Jason Durr as the legendary Colonel Mustard and Strictly Come Dancing champ Ellie Leach as the ever-glam Miss Scarlett, this show promises laughs, intrigue, and more twists than a game of, well, Cluedo. 🎲

Art Surrey 2024 is back at Epsom Downs Racecourse - home of the Derby - and it’s bringing over 90 artists and 3,000+ artworks for you to feast your eyes on!

Following her sold-out 2022 tour, the legendary Sandi Toksvig is back with her brand new show, Friends of Dorothy!

Eclipse Leisure Centre in Staines-upon-Thames will open its doors on October 15, bringing exciting new facilities to Knowle Green after a massive £50 million upgrade: The upgraded centre will feature rooftop football pitches, an eight-lane swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and an LED-marked sports hall. Plans for the revamp were first announced in 2018, with final approval coming in June 2021 following extensive local consultation. Dan Zubiena, general manager at Places Leisure, said the centre will be a “hub of activity” offering something for everyone in the Spelthorne community - I can’t wait to check it out! 🏊‍♂️⚽

A battery storage site to provide energy during times of high demand has been approved in Surrey: Runnymede's planning committee gave the green light on Wednesday for a site near the River Wey in Addlestone. The development will contribute to exporting renewable energy to the National Grid for up to 30 years. A council spokesman said the project aligns with Runnymede’s climate change goals and demonstrated those special circumstances. The battery storage system will store energy during high supply and release it during high demand, providing emergency electricity to the National Grid. Earlier this month, Tandridge District Council approved a similar facility in Caterham, also on green belt land, despite some local opposition. 🌳⚡

The manor house featured in BBC’s Ghosts has opened a free sensory garden for visitors: West Horsley Place, near Guildford, has transformed a long-neglected garden on its estate into an accessible, multi-sensory experience. This project is part of the Heritage Without Barriers initiative, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, aimed at making the Grade I listed building more inclusive for the community. The garden was designed with input from blind and partially-sighted individuals and their carers, resulting in features like walk-through plants, fragrant flower banks, and vibrant colors. West Horsley Place, also known as Button House in Ghosts, continues to fundraise for £7m in essential repairs. 🌸🌿
