Etsy Guildford Autumn Market! 🍂🎨
Looking to add a little local flair to your home - or find that perfect gift that says, "I put way more thought into this than grabbing something off Amazon"? Well, you’re in luck!
The Etsy Guildford Autumn Market is back for its third market of the year, it’s getting more popular every time it rolls around.
It’s on Saturday & Sunday - remember it’s Cleaner Air Day in Guildford on Sunday, so if you do pop by, try and use public transport if possible.
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Tunsgate Quarter, 98-110 High Street, Guildford, GU1 3QY
We all know what Etsy is about, but you’ll find locally-made creations from talented artisans on the ground floor and mezzanine of Tunsgate Quarter.
If you’re looking for something specific or just fancy a wander around, there’s something for everyone.
What I love about the Etsy markets is it’s all for a good cause! Tunsgate Quarter and Etsy Guildford are teaming up to support the Fountain Centre, a local charity helping cancer patients and their families 💖

Where Were We Wednesday! 📸
We were at the Narnia Trail in Banstead Woods!
👏 Good job if you got it!
What a fantastic place to visit, I didn’t know the Narnia Trail even existed until a few weeks ago, check it out here.

The Digest 🗞️😀
Don’t get caught by ULEZ charges during the weekend closures: Drivers are being urged to follow diversion signs during three weekend-long closures at M25 Junction 10 on 4th October, 18th October, and 1st November to avoid getting hit with ULEZ charges. The slip roads for both the M25 and A3 will be closed from 9:00 PM Friday to 6:00 AM Monday, but the signed diversion routes have been designed to keep drivers out of ULEZ zones, which normally charge £12.50 per day for non-compliant vehicles - just be aware of them! I recommend checking your vehicle’s ULEZ status, as some diversions pass through areas like Chessington World of Adventures, which are inside the zone. 🚧🛣️
The Surrey based charity Guide Dogs is calling for more people to foster trainee guide dogs, with puppy raisers playing a huge role in getting these pups ready to assist individuals with sight loss: Volunteers raise the puppies for 12-16 months, helping them with training, socialisation, and exposure to different environments, you have to give them up though, you can’t keep them sadly! Stephanie Billington, who has raised seven guide dogs, describes the experience as "very rewarding" and says the dogs go on to make a huge difference in their owners’ lives. An amazing cause, and you get to raise a pup! 🐕🦺❤️
Footballer Millie Bright has made history as the first woman to receive an honorary title from Reigate and Banstead Borough Council in its 50-year history: The Lioness, who lives in Redhill, was named Honorary Freewoman for her services to sport, following her role as England’s captain at the 2023 Women’s World Cup and her incredible career Chelsea. Millie said she’s proud of the local community and she has inspired so many young people to take up football, add that to her OBE, she is a real role model - Well Done Millie! 🏆⚽
