No introduction is needed for this man, but he’s back!

The legendary Ricky Gervais is hitting the stage with his brand-new show, "Mortality" and it promises to be as outrageously thought-provoking as ever!

He’s on a tour throughout the UK in smaller venues, essentially warming up for his next Netflix special, “Mortality” - he did something similar for Armageddon, where he performed in Woking, among other places.

I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but if he is, you’re in for a treat.. if you’re lucky enough to get a ticket!

📍 Where and When?
Live at G Live on Tuesday, 10th and Wednesday, 11th September 2024 at 7 pm. But remember, this is an online sales-only event, so be ready at your keyboards!

General tickets are On-sale Friday, 30th August 2024 at 10am! If you forget it, you’ll regret it.

Get Fired Up for Guildford Flames vs. Amiens This Weekend! 🏒

I don’t know about you, but after the Olympics, and now the Paralympics, I’ve got a craving for random sports, and kicking off this weekend is a fun one, the Guildford Flames are back in action.

Our very own Guildford Flames are taking on the French giants Amiens, and it's all happening this Saturday, 31st August!

Now, if you’ve never been to an ice hockey match, it’s a brilliant atmosphere, there’s loads of action, it’s genuinely a great evening out for all the family - just make sure you wrap up warm, it’s still in an ice rink!

  • Location: Spectrum Leisure Complex, Guildford

  • Puck Drops (that means kick off..): 7:00pm

I’m not even going to pretend to be an Ice Hockey expert, but I’d recommend you give a try.

As I said, this Saturday at the Guildhall, (which is right in the heart of Guildford's High Street under the massive clock tower) is the place to be if you’re seasoned collector, a casual browser, or just curious about vinyl.

With loads of stalls due, packed with thousands of records, you’ll find everything from affordable gems to rare, sought-after treasures that you’ve been searching for.

This is the perfect opportunity to discover new music, reconnect with old favorites, and meet fellow vinyl enthusiasts who share your passion.

Surrey Half Marathon is coming soon, and that means road closures: If you're planning to be out and about on Sunday, September 8, be aware that several roads throughout Woking will be closed for the Surrey Half Marathon. The closures will start at 7:30 am and will reopen within a few hours, so it shouldn’t disrupt you too much. However, if you have essential travel needs, like a care visit or a hospital appointment, please email [email protected] ahead of time. We’ve got some disappointing news for all you music fans - Weyfest 2025 won’t be happening. The festival organizers have had to pull the plug due to financial uncertainty at the Rural Life Living Museum (RLLM), the brilliant site that’s hosted the event for years. It’s even sadder as this year’s festival was unbelievable, with incredible performances from the Lightning Seeds, Kosheen, and The Feeling. But just days before the fun began, the RLLM announced they needed £150,000 in donations to stay open, leaving Weyfest’s future up in the air - so if you’re in Surrey, love WeyFest and have a spare £150k laying about, get in touch! 🎶😔
