The World-Famous Monday Wordle 🧠
What’s on Guide for this week 📅
Let’s get to it.

🎪 Dazzling, Daring & Deeply Moving: Motionhouse’s HIDDEN Comes to Guildford
📍 Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford
🗓️ Tuesday 20 & Wednesday 21 May | 7:30pm
🎟️ Tickets from £18 | Ages 7+
The internationally renowned Motionhouse is back in Guildford with Hidden, a boundary-pushing fusion of dance, circus, and digital art that’ll leave you breathless (and possibly questioning gravity).
Following the huge success of their 2021 hit Nobody, this all-new production explores how hope and humanity can rise from crisis.
With performers soaring through the air, shape-shifting sets, and digital projections that blur the line between reality and illusion, it’s really good!
💥 Why you have to see it:
Gravity-defying choreography – flips, lifts, and throws performed with unreal precision
Live projections & digital wizardry – creating shifting worlds in real time
Powerful storytelling – a timely, poignant message about unity, resilience and transformation
A shape-shifting set – the stage itself becomes part of the action
Adrenaline meets emotion – circus thrills with real heart
🎟️ Ticket details:
Standard: £28
Concessions from £18 (Students, Under 25s, Job Seekers, Surrey Carers, etc.)
£15 Schools tickets available
Suitable for ages 7+, so it’s a great pick for older kids and teens too—just maybe not for the very little ones.
🎭 Running time: 2 hours 5 mins (with a 25-minute interval—perfect for refuelling)
♿ Accessibility: Accessible seating available—contact the Box Office to arrange
🔗 Book now at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre website – this one’s expected to sell out!

Surrey Beats & Eats Summerfest Cancelled – Major Disappointment for Music Fans
What was shaping up to be one of Surrey’s biggest weekends of the year—Surrey Beats & Eats Summerfest at Nonsuch Park—has sadly been cancelled due to licensing issues, organisers have confirmed. Set to run from 24–26 May, the three-day festival promised a packed line-up with top music acts, two massive stages, street food galore, fiery chilli-eating contests, live wrestling, a wellness zone, and even a full day dedicated to country music on the Monday.
Monday’s Country Music Takeover was expected to be a major highlight, bringing boots, banjos and all-day dancing to Epsom. Fans were especially looking forward to the two stages of non-stop country anthems, alongside cold drinks and southern-style street food.
Organisers say all tickets will be automatically refunded to the original payment method and have apologised for the inconvenience caused. While it’s a huge letdown for ticketholders and performers alike, here’s hoping Summerfest gets another shot in 2026. 🌭🎸

The Digest 🗞️😀
They might not have won over the public vote, but Surrey’s own Remember Monday made sure their Eurovision journey was one to remember: The all-female trio—Holly-Anne from Camberley, Charlotte from Farnham, and Lauren from Fleet—brought sass, vocals, and serious sparkle to the world’s biggest music stage, finishing 19th overall with a top-10 jury score. Despite zero points from the public, they called it “one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives.” Next up? A headline tour, summer festivals, and Wembley Stadium. Eurovision: ✅ What The Hell Just Happened? – a lot of awesome, actually. 🇬🇧🎶
Over a mile of new walking trails have just been unveiled at Tyting Farm, one of Guildford’s most historic and scenic nature reserves: Once a secret WWII training ground, the site is now a peaceful haven for wildlife and weekend wanderers alike—with grazing cows, chirping birds, and stunning views across the Surrey Hills. Guildford Borough Council’s restoration efforts include chalk grassland recovery, invasive species removal, and brand-new signage to guide you through it all. Fancy a mindful stroll with a side of local history? This is the spot. 🐄🚶♀️
A huge shoutout to Charley Moore, a Surrey firefighter who swapped fire hoses for heartfelt conversations by launching Grow and Glow—a female-only mental health support group that’s just celebrated its one-year anniversary: What started in Epsom has now expanded to Guildford and Reigate, offering weekly peer-led sessions where women can speak openly, share struggles, and feel truly heard. No red tape, no waitlists—just real talk and real support from women who get it. Charley’s now on the lookout for new facilitators to help bring this vital space to even more corners of the county. 👩🚒💛
