Oti Mabuse’s Viva Carnival – Just Announced! 🎉

If you know Oti from Strictly Come Dancing (where she won twice in a row, no big deal), you already know she’s a powerhouse of talent, energy, and ridiculously good moves.

Now, she’s taking us on a 90-minute whirlwind trip around the world with Viva Carnival – a show packed with outrageous choreography, feel-good music, and carnival vibes that’ll force you up out of that seat!

What you can expect:

• A full-on celebration of dance, from Latin to ballroom and beyond

• Big, bold, carnival-style performances 🎭🎶

Supreme Queen – The Ultimate Queen Tribute 👑

Nest Box Buildathon!🐦

Looking for a wholesome way to spend your Saturday?

Join Tice's Meadow Bird Group for their Nest Box Buildathon this Saturday, 22nd Feb, from 10 AM - 2 PM at The Kiln (Badshot Lea Village Hall).

The Lightbox Gallery & Museum in Woking has just bagged a much-needed £319,000 from the government to help with urgent repairs to its 20-year-old building: This funding comes as part of a £270 million investment in arts and heritage venues, ensuring The Lightbox can keep providing a creative space for the community. With local council funding under threat, this cash injection is a lifeline for one of Surrey’s key cultural hubs—and a win for anyone who loves a bit of artistic inspiration! 🎭🖼️

Godstone’s High Street has turned into something out of a disaster movie, as a massive sinkhole—now a whopping 65ft long—continues to gobble up more of the road: What started as a late-night collapse has now forced families to evacuate, a car to teeter dangerously on the edge, and local businesses to grind to a halt. Residents describe the scene as sounding like a "waterfall," and with the area sitting on old sand quarries and caves, no one’s quite sure when—or where—the next collapse might happen. Emergency teams are on-site, but for now, Godstone’s High Street is officially out of action. 🚧😨

A new exhibition at Chertsey Museum is shining a well-deserved spotlight on the untold stories of NHS staff at St Peter’s Hospital: Open until April 2025, the free exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the hospital’s history, from its emergency war hospital beginnings in 1939 to the modern-day healthcare hub it is today.
