Surrey Bonfire & Fireworks Round-Up 2025 🎆🔥

Bonfire Night might technically fall on Wednesday 5th November, but across Surrey, the skies will be lighting up from late October to mid-November with firework displays, torchlit parades, funfairs, and community bonfires galore.

So grab your woolly hats, gloves, and sparklers - here’s your roundup of the best displays and bonfires happening across the county this year...

Saturday 25 October

• Mini Fireworks Festival @ Godstone Farm – Low-noise fireworks, fire acts, lasers, stilt walkers, and Surrey’s biggest soft play. Family fun from 4:30pm!

• Ripley Bonfire – Torchlit procession, roaring bonfire, a huge firework display, and live music to finish. Oh, and Brian’s Bar will be serving the “cheapest beer in the village.” Iconic.

Friday 31 October

• Chobham Fireworks – Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 8pm, plus Halloween fancy dress, bars, and glow-toy stalls. It’s spooky and sparkly.

Saturday 1 November

• Bramley Bonfire & Fireworks – Details still TBC, but they’ve got £512k from Asda to play with, so we’ve got high hopes!

• Cranleigh Bonfire Night – One of Surrey’s biggest! Expect torchlit processions, competitions, funfair, and an epic fireworks show set to music.

• Lingfield Park Spooky Spectacular – Fireworks, face painting, LED dancers, Urban City Dance, funfair rides and Halloween thrills from 4pm–7pm.

Sunday 2 November

• Colets Family Fireworks Night (Thames Ditton) – Fairground rides, food stalls, and a big community bonfire. One of the most anticipated nights in the area—book early!

Friday 7 November

• Godalming Town Fireworks @ Guildford Rugby Club – Advance tickets only! A local favourite with entertainment, food, and drinks.

Saturday 8 November – Bonfire Central!

If you’re going big this year, this is the night:

• Brockham Bonfire – One of the largest and most famous displays in the county. Torchlight procession, huge bonfire, fireworks, and even a pig auction. Yes, really.

• Chiddingfold Bonfire – Traditional village vibes with torch processions, fireworks, and stalls on the green. Shuttle buses from Witley Station available.

• Epsom Fireworks @ Hook Road Arena – Includes a low-noise kids’ display at 6:30pm, followed by the main show at 7:30pm.

• Farnham Fireworks @ Farnham Park – Torchlit procession, food village, live drummers, and fireworks beneath the castle backdrop.

• Guildford Firework Fiesta @ Stoke Park – Live music, funfair, food, and fireworks! Early bird tickets available now. Kids under 16 go free!

• Woking Fireworks Extravaganza @ Woking Park – Funfair opens at 5:30pm, fireworks at 7:30pm. Presented by Woking Rotary with proceeds to charity.

Make sure to double-check times and ticket info before you go, as events can change or sell out quickly. And don’t forget the hot chocolate and gloves – it’s fireworks season, baby! 💥🧣

Their instruments will help future rovers drill deep into the Martian surface, searching for the building blocks of life. Not bad for a day’s work in the Surrey countryside! 🪐🔬

Surrey County Council has launched a new £50,000 fund to help local groups tackle the growing effects of climate change. With outdoor fires up 200% in the last year and native species in serious decline, the council is offering grants of £500 to £5,000 to support projects that restore habitats, reduce flooding and wildfires, and improve air quality. Community groups and councils have until 7th November to apply — so if you’ve got a green-fingered idea, now’s the time to act! 🌳💧

Shops along Downing Street in Farnham are feeling the squeeze as the key town centre road remains closed to through-traffic for upgrade works — part of a wider pedestrianisation project set to run until 2027. Local favourites like Blue Tiger Boutique and Caffe Piccolo have seen footfall and lunchtime trade drop, with some customers choosing to head elsewhere. But there’s also been a wave of community support, with retailers rallying on social media to remind everyone: they're still open for business! Surrey County Council says the road will reopen to traffic by 1st November, just in time for the crucial Christmas shopping rush, and promises smoother pavements and a prettier town centre once it’s all done. 🛍️🦺
