Windsor On Ice is back for the 2024 festive season, bringing you a magical day out for the whole family in the heart of historic Alexandra Gardens.
Ice Skating: Skate on real ice under the cover of a weatherproof rink—no soggy socks here! Perfect for pros, beginners, and everyone in between.
Fairground Fun: From thrill rides to classic carousels, grab an Unlimited Fairground Wristband for all-you-can-ride excitement.
Festive Food & Drink: Sip on a freshly brewed coffee or warm up with treats from the Bar & Grill while you watch the action from the covered viewing area.
Family-Friendly Activities: Tiny Tuesdays and All Access Wednesdays ensure there’s fun for everyone, no matter their age or ability.

Starting yesterday (Sunday 15th), train services across the South East are getting an upgrade with new timetables: Expect more seats, extra services, and better connections for Southeastern, GTR (Southern, Thameslink, Gatwick Express), and South Western Railway passengers. From additional evening trains to streamlined "turn up and go" routes, your commute just got an upgrade. ⚠️ Heads up: South Western Railway routes via Woking will see disruptions from 15 Dec to 5 Jan due to engineering work—plan ahead! - Learn more here. ✨🚃
Surrey Heath Borough Council has rolled out shiny new closed-top litter bins across the area: These bins are replacing smaller bins and dog waste bins with larger ones to tackle litter and boost waste capacity. With 1,230 bins already upgraded, the project will add 17,000 litres of extra capacity and include new recycling bins in Camberley and nearby villages by March 2025. Cleaner streets and better recycling? Yes, please! 🐾♻️
Epsom & Ewell Borough Council is shining a light on sustainability, by installing solar panels at Bourne Hall as part of its Climate Change Action Plan: The panels will slash carbon emissions by over nine tonnes a year, covering 25% of the building's electricity needs and saving £15,000 annually—funds that can go back into community services. With double glazing set to follow in 2025, this Grade II-listed gem is leading the charge toward the council's 2035 carbon-neutral target. A bright future, indeed! 💡♻️
